Swore a trim router was overkill for small jobs, then one cut 40 feet of oak shoe in an afternoon
I was sure my block plane and chisels could handle every wrap and return on the Marsh job, and I ate a whole Saturday because of it. The router with a chamfer bit knocked out 40 feet of shoe in about 2 hours, and the edges came out cleaner than anything I've done by hand. Anybody here finding more spots where a router beats doing it the old way?
