Switched from my old Stanley no. 4 to a 60 1/2 block plane for trimming cabinet doors and I'm not going back
Took me 3 door edges last Tuesday to see the block plane let me flush trim end grain in half the strokes without tearout, so what's your go-to for tight door tweaks when a smoother just feels like too much tool?
