Dropped $1,800 on a sliding compound miter saw and it sits in the corner now
Bought a 12 inch sliding compound miter saw about 8 months ago for a big trim job in Fort Worth. The thing weighs 65 pounds and I can barely haul it up stairs without help. Turns out my old non-sliding saw handles 90 percent of what I do, and the sliding rails still wobble a bit on wide cuts. Anyone else buy a fancy tool they barely touch, or is it just me?
