That one Thursday where every single interview went sideways
Had a day last month where I had back to back phone screens, and the first guy put me on hold for 10 minutes then forgot why he called me. Second one asked about a job I never applied for, and the third kept calling me by the wrong name even after I corrected him twice. I bombed all three in a row and left feeling like I didn't know how to talk to humans anymore. Has anyone else had a string of bad interview days where you just can't tell if it's you or them?
That's rough, but mostly them. Recruiters forgetting your name or the job is a bad sign of their process, not your skills. Bombing three calls in a row is just bad luck stacking up. Walk away, grab a coffee, and treat the next one like a fresh slate. Your brain was probably fried after the first doofus anyway. Did you get any callbacks later?
