Serious question, how long did it take you to get good at salary talks?
I thought I could learn to negotiate a raise in a week, but it took me over 6 months of real practice. I had to research market rates for project managers in Atlanta, role-play with my wife, and finally get the nerve to ask. Has anyone else found this takes way longer than you first planned?

Totally get that! The role-playing part is key, makes it way less scary when the real talk happens. Honestly took me a few tries to stop sounding like a robot reading a script.

Try recording yourself to hear the robot voice.
