Recruiter ignored me for 11 days, then I used the 5pm Friday trick

I applied to a data entry job in Austin and got zero replies for almost two weeks. Then I sent a short follow-up email at 5pm on a Friday, just asking if they needed any extra info from me. Monday morning they offered an interview slot, so did the timing actually matter or did I just get lucky?

Honestly that trick works way more often than people think, people check their email on the drive home.
