Job hunting used to mean paper resumes, now it's all about the ATS
Back in 2010 I was applying in person with printed resumes and a firm handshake. Now I tell my clients they need to tailor every application to get past the software. I watched a hiring manager in Denver pull 200 applicants and only 12 made it to a human screen. Has anyone else noticed the shift and do you actually change your resume for every single job posting?
