Companies pushing for endless certifications is a waste of time

I keep seeing job listings demand more paper qualifications than ever. It doesn't actually mean you can do the work better. My last boss admitted they never check those certs after hiring.

My certification in advanced stapler repair has really come in handy zero times. Still waiting for that call to prove my worth.
