Just realized I should've built my kid's castle with double-wall panels instead of a single layer
Spent last Saturday in the garage in Omaha cutting up moving boxes for my daughter's birthday castle, and I picked single layer sides to save time. Big mistake. The walls bowed in about 20 minutes once she and her cousins started leaning on the drawbridge, and the tower flopped over twice before cake. Took me another 90 minutes that night to glue a second layer of panels inside the main walls, and now the thing is stiff enough that my 60 lb dog can bump it and it holds. Should I just double-wall everything from now on, or is there a point where thicker sides get too heavy to move around?
