PSA: my stove quit in a downpour at Panther Creek and the fix was a $3 part

I was 6 miles in at Panther Creek last month when the igniter on my backup stove died in the rain, so I swapped to a $3 flint sparker I'd thrown in the repair kit and it lit first try. Now I'm wondering what other cheap backup parts people keep on hand for gear that fails at the worst time?
