Bought a $200 sleeping pad at REI in Boise 5 weeks ago, my $35 foam one from Walmart sleeps better
Everyone on here swears you need an inflatable pad for real camping but I woke up with a sore back 4 nights in a row on the fancy one and the cheap foam pad has never let me down, so what am I actually missing here?
Returned mine after two trips too, turns out a $200 pad can't fix the fact that I sleep like a gremlin. Nothing like blowing up a fancy air mattress for 20 minutes just to wake up touching the cold ground anyway.
