Read somewhere that the guy who wrote the original Hasselblad service manuals actually admitted later he just repeated what the factory engineers told him, and half of it was wrong. Same vibe here. Feels like a lot of those old manuals were just someone typing up what they assumed was correct without actually testing it. Makes you wonder how many cameras got messed up because people followed the book instead of checking the real specs.

Yeah it's wild how often official instructions are just flat out wrong. Makes you realize how much "expert knowledge" is really just guesswork dressed up as authority.
