Pro tip: I switched from tweezers to a vacuum pen for sensor cleaning

I used to spend forever trying to grab tiny dust specks off sensors with tweezers, but after dropping one into a Nikon D850 last month, I switched to a vacuum pen. It's way faster and I haven't had a single scratch since. Anyone else made a similar change for cleaning jobs?

Tweezers disaster" seems a little dramatic. I've been using tweezers for like 15 years and the only time I ever dropped anything was when I sneezed, which is kind of on me. Are people really jamming tweezers into their sensor like they're trying to dig out a splinter? I feel like if you just get a decent pair with a nice pointy tip and steady your hand on the camera body, it's pretty hard to mess up. But hey if the vacuum pen makes you feel better, go for it I just don't think tweezers are some big hazard.

Honestly, that sounds like a genius move after the tweezers disaster. What kind of vacuum pen did you go with? I've seen a few cheap ones online that look pretty flimsy. Is there a specific brand that actually has enough suction for the really stubborn bits?

@ivanl76, did you try the one from iFixit? I mean, mine gets the job done even on the really stuck stuff.
