My repair bench went from junk pile to 15 minute turnarounds, here's what did it
Six months ago my bench was a disaster, parts everywhere and I was losing screws in the carpet constantly. Then I got a cheap magnetic strip from Harbor Freight and mounted it on the wall behind the bench, and also started using those little clear tackle boxes from Walmart for screws by size. Now I can grab a body, pull the bottom plate, and have it back together without digging around for 20 minutes. It sounds dumb but the magnetic strip alone cut my average repair time way down. Anyone else got a cheap shop upgrade that punched way above its price?
