Visited my buddy's home theater setup and nearly had a panic attack
Went over to Mike's place last Saturday to watch the game, and the back of his TV cabinet was like a spider web of cables. Speaker wires, HDMI cords, power strips all tangled up with like 6 inches of dust on everything. I asked him how he even plugs anything in without getting shocked and he just shrugged. I get that not everyone cares, but for a $3,000 TV setup you'd think he'd spend $20 on some zip ties or a cable raceway. Has anyone else walked into a friend's place and felt the urge to fix their wires for them?

Honestly, my own setup looks like a spaghetti monster exploded behind the TV, so I can't judge. Tbh I'm just impressed Mike's cables haven't started their own electric blanket business yet. Ngl, one day I'll tackle that mess, but for now I just pretend it's part of the decor.

Wait, you're actually defending the tangled abyss back there? A little cable management goes a long way for airflow and not tripping over a power strip when you get up to grab a drink at 2 AM.
