TIL the real mess behind my TV was the power strip, not the wires
Swapped out the rat's nest behind my living room TV in about 2 hours last Saturday, mostly because I kept unplugging the wrong thing and killing the whole setup. I measured the mess with a tape from my toolbox: 14 feet of cord packed into a 3 foot gap behind a bookshelf in my Denver apartment. Turns out a $9 short power strip fixed 80% of it, and I still feel silly for not trying that first. Anyone else find that the strip was the real culprit and not the cords themselves?
