TIL the looped slack behind my TV was making my wifi drop, not my router
I kept blaming my router in the living room for the buffering, so I called the cable company in Portland twice and got nowhere. Last weekend I finally pulled the TV off the wall and saw the coax cable coiled up in a tight circle about the size of a coffee mug right behind the set. I moved the loop out flat and tucked the slack along the baseboard instead, and the drops stopped that same night. I guess looping a cable tight can mess with the signal, has anyone else run into this with their TV wiring?
