That one cable tie behind my desk took me 40 minutes and a cut on my knuckle
So last Saturday I finally decided to clean up the mess behind my desk and TV, which had been bugging me for weeks. I thought it would take maybe an hour, grab some zip ties and be done. Nope. There was one cable tie holding a power strip to the leg of the desk that was tucked so far back I had to lay flat on my stomach with a flashlight in my teeth just to see it. The tie was one of those thick ones and my scissors barely fit back there, so I ended up sawing at it with a box cutter at a weird angle and sliced my knuckle on the desk frame. That single tie ate up 40 minutes of my afternoon, and I still had the rest of the wires to deal with after that. By the time I finished, my back was killing me and I'd only done the desk, not even the TV. What do you guys use to get at the ties in those dead spots behind furniture, because I'm not doing that again?
