That electrician who called my zip ties trash was right
I was doing a home theater install in Portland last month and this older electrician walked by my half-finished TV mount setup. He told me zip ties are for quitters and handed me a roll of velcro tape, then showed me how to bundle the HDMI and power separately so they don't interfere. It took me an extra 15 minutes but the back of that 85 inch panel looks cleaner than any job I've done in 12 years. Anyone else had a random trade guy drop some knowledge that stuck with you?
