My wakeup call was at IKEA last Tuesday watching a guy zip-tie everything behind his desk

I was there grabbing some shelves and saw this dude had his cabling so neat it looked like a pro install. Made me realize I've been just shoving wires behind my TV for 10 years without a second thought. Anyone else just let their cables pile up until they have a moment like that?

Wait, zip ties are actually the right call here - velcro straps work way better for cables you'll need to move later.

My buddy spent 3 hours organizing his computer wires with those little adhesive cable clips and then moved his desk the next week and had to do it all over again.
