My TV unit turned into a spider web of cables after I moved it 3 feet

Last month I shifted my entertainment center two inches to the right to hide a power strip and ended up with a rat's nest of HDMI and speaker wires that looked like something from a horror movie. Spent an hour with zip ties and those sticky cable clips from the hardware store to run everything along the baseboard behind the unit. Has anyone found a solid way to keep cables from slipping out of those little clips over time?

Man, those sticky clips are basically just a trap for frustration, aren't they. I actually started using small magnetic cable clips that stick to the metal frame inside my TV unit instead of the baseboard, and they hold way better because the magnet keeps tension even when the plastic gets old. The trick is finding spots where the metal is thin enough for the magnet to grab, but once you do, those cables aren't going anywhere.

Yo @price.tyler you're totally right about those magnetic clips, I had the same problem with the sticky ones peeling off after a few months in the summer heat. I switched to the magnetic kind on the back of my metal TV stand and they've been solid for over a year now.
