My TV stand wires looked like spaghetti until I labeled cable ends one Saturday
Had the same 7 wires behind my Samsung for 3 years. Every time I swapped a console I'd pull the wrong one and lose signal. Last weekend I bought a $6 label maker and put tags on both ends of every HDMI, power, and ethernet cable. Took about 40 minutes but now I can trace anything without tracing it, you know? Has anyone else found that simple labels beat fancy cable sleeves every time?
Labels definitely beat sleeves for the actual "which wire is which" problem. Just gotta be careful with the label maker on really thin cables though, the sticky ones can peel off if you bend them a bunch. But yeah, 40 minutes of labeling saves way more than that later.
