Appreciation post: my uncle's 20 cent pool noodle trick for TV wires
My uncle Ray came over to help me mount a 55 inch TV in my apartment in Dallas two weekends ago and he took one look at the rat's nest behind my old setup and just laughed. He said stop buying fancy clips and sleeves, just slice a pool noodle down the middle and stuff all your cables inside it. I thought it was the dumbest thing I ever heard but we did it for the soundbar, the HDMI, the power cord, everything. Took maybe 10 minutes and it looks like one clean tube running down the back of the stand. Total cost was a dollar store noodle and a couple zip ties. Anyone else use random stuff from around the house like this instead of actual cable gear?
