Spent 3 hours chasing a ground fault that was just a loose connector

New build in Phoenix, kept tripping the ground fault on a cable run and I tore half the attic apart checking splitters and barrels before I found the F connector on the wall plate wasn't fully tightened. Has anyone else had a simple fix eat up way more time than it should have?

I mean, "simple fix eat up way more time than it should have" is kinda the whole game with troubleshooting, isn't it? Each connector you check feels like the obvious culprit, and then you gotta backtrack when it's not. Maybe it's just me but I'd rather spend the time upfront than have to crawl back into the attic a week later when it trips again.
