Overheard a homeowner say my crimper sounded like a stapler from hell

I was running coax through a crawl space in Maplewood last Tuesday and this guy yells down 'sounds like you're killing something down there.' Didn't think much of it until I realized he was talking about my Klein crimper. Made me wonder if anyone else's customers have gotten weirdly chatty about the noise you make on the job. What's the most offbeat comment a homeowner has thrown your way about your gear?

I get what you're saying about the stapler from hell thing, but honestly I don't see it as weird chatty commentary. Most homeowners just don't know what tools sound like. They hear a ratchet or a crimper and their brain jumps to something funny. To me it's just them trying to make small talk while you're in their crawl space. That's not really offbeat, it's just normal. They're probably nervous about the work and cracking a joke helps them feel better about it.
