Hot take: quick-snapping a drop behind a $40k built-in cabinet in Charlotte, do you pop a new hole or fish it?
Last Tuesday I was on a retrofit in Charlotte and the only path to the living room was behind a custom cabinet the homeowner just paid $40k for, so I had to pick between drilling a clean hole behind it or fishing 20 feet through a finished wall. I fished it and burned an extra 90 minutes plus a fish tape, but the cabinet and drywall came out untouched. Do you all play it safe like that or just drill and patch, and which one actually keeps you out of trouble with the customer?
