Hit 500 cable terminations in a week and my thumbs are done

Last week was brutal, I had this massive new build job with 48 units and they wanted everything terminated and tested in 5 days. By Wednesday I was at 312 terminations (I actually counted, not sure why) and by Friday I hit 512 total. My thumbs are still sore, like the joints feel weird when I grip anything. It was a record for me personally and I realized I never pay attention to volume until my body starts complaining. The weird part is the customer barely noticed because the work was in the walls, you know? Has anyone else hit a crazy number like that and felt it in your hands for days after?

500 in a week is a lot but people act like their thumbs are broken after a big job. Take some ibuprofen and move on, it's really not that deep.

Took a ton of ibuprofen and iced my hands every night and it made a huge difference. Your mileage may vary but that got me through it without any issues.
