Had a day last week where everything went wrong on one install

I was doing a new build in a condo complex near downtown Atlanta. First thing, the attic access was blocked by a duct, took me 20 minutes just to get in. Then the drill battery died halfway through my first hole. I had to climb back down and grab my spare from the truck. To top it off, the customer wanted the modem in a closet with no power outlet nearby. I spent an extra hour running an extension cord through the crawlspace. Has anyone else had those days where three things go bad before lunch?

My last bad install started with me dropping a screwdriver through a ceiling vent, which took forever to fish out of the insulation. Then I realized I left the customer's new modem in the truck after I'd already sealed everything up... I swear some days the universe just wants to test your patience.

Did you try the old "magnet on a string" trick, or was it one of those cheap screwdrivers that aren't even magnetic? Sounds like one of those days where you just gotta laugh at yourself before you start crying into the insulation...
