Decided to run coax through a attic vent yesterday. Huge mistake.

Figured I'd save 20 minutes by snaking the cable through the attic vent instead of drilling a new hole. Got about halfway and the vent flap snapped shut right on my arm. Stuck there for 10 minutes waving my phone around trying to get a signal to call my partner. Had to cut the cable and patch it later anyway. Anyone else learn this lesson the hard way?

Oh man, I gotta disagree a bit. Attic vents are actually great for running cable if you pop the flap off first and feed it through.

Heard a guy on a podcast say the same thing, made it look way easier.
