Why does nobody talk about putting labels on both ends of long cables
I spent a whole Saturday afternoon last month untangling the mess behind my TV stand in Austin, and the culprit was a 15 foot HDMI cable that looked identical to my ethernet cord. I kept pulling the wrong one and yanking my soundbar off its shelf, which was honestly hilarious after the third time. So I grabbed my label maker and put tiny tags on both ends of every cord over 6 feet, plus a color dot system for the power bricks. Has anyone else tried this or do you just suffer through the guessing game every time you need to unplug something?
