TIL a $2 pack of bread ties cleaned up the back of my desk in 20 minutes
Got tired of untangling 4 charging cords and a monitor cable every morning. Tried zip ties first but I hated cutting them off when I needed to swap a cord. Then I grabbed the twist ties off a loaf of bread and wrapped each cable at both ends. Twenty minutes later the whole mess behind my desk stayed separated. Six weeks in and nothing has knotted up once. The best part is I can undo one in about 2 seconds when I need to move my laptop. Anyone else using stuff from the kitchen drawer for this? What holds up longer than bread ties?
