The drawer of shame finally got sorted out last weekend

I had a junk drawer packed with old chargers for 3 years. Random cables from phones I don't even own anymore. Last Saturday I dumped it all on the kitchen table and tested every single one with a multimeter. Found 14 cables that were completely dead, 9 that still worked but I had zero use for. Bagged the dead ones for recycling and put the extras in a labeled box for guests. Anyone else keep cables way longer than they should just because they might need them someday?
