Rant: My desk looked like a spaghetti monster until I hit 40 bucks on velcro straps
For like 5 years I just shoved every cord behind my desk and prayed. Phone charger, monitor cable, a dead USB hub I never unplugged, all tangled into one big knot. Then last week I pulled out my laptop and the whole pile came with it, almost took out my coffee mug. So I spent 40 dollars on a roll of velcro straps and a cable sleeve at a hardware store near my place in Cleveland. Now I label each strap with a tiny piece of tape, takes me 2 minutes to reroute anything. My wife walked by and said, "did you get a new desk or something?" Nope, just sorted the snake pit. Has anyone else found that labeling each cord saves more time than the actual bundling does?
