My desk went from 12 tangled cables to 4 neat ones in one weekend and I owe it all to zip ties and a label maker
Honestly I finally snapped last Friday when I crawled under my desk to plug in my phone and pulled out a nest of like 12 different cables. Tbh I spent about $18 on a pack of velcro ties and a label maker from the office store down the street. Ngl the before and after difference is crazy, it took me maybe two hours total on Saturday. I grouped everything by device, labeled each cord with the little sticky flags, and now I can actually see my power strip. The biggest win was getting my monitor and laptop chargers off the floor where they kept getting yanked. Has anyone else tried the plastic spiral wrap stuff, or does it just make things worse?
