My 4-pack of binder clips fixed the mess behind my TV stand in one afternoon
The spaghetti of HDMI and power cables was driving me nuts, so I clipped each one to the back edge of the stand with binder clips from my office drawer, no velcro or zip ties needed. Has anyone else tried the clip method or am I just getting lucky with the weight of these cords?

Wait, you clipped cords to the back edge and they just stayed put without sagging or pulling loose?
