Hot take: velcro ties are useless once you have more than 10 cables

I spent Sunday untangling my TV stand after adding a 5th console, and all those velcro strips just became one giant fuzzy knot. The only thing that actually worked was a cable sleeve from the dollar store, cost me $3 for a 6 foot tube. Anyone else ditch ties for sleeves once the pile got serious, or am I missing something?
