Found out the average desk hides 9 cables and I counted mine at 23

Saw that stat on a wire company's blog while hunting for zip ties last week and then crawled behind my own desk on Sunday and counted 23 cords back there, so now I want to know if anyone else is way over the so called average or if I just have a problem.
