That time my domino borked a melamine panel
I was building some bookcases for a client in Portland last month and my Festool domino decided to drift left about 3/16" on a 96" tall melamine panel. Had to fill the hole with bondo and sand it smooth before the next coat of edge banding. Anyone ever have a domino just decide to walk on you like that?

...and that's exactly why I tell people melamine is the devil's material. Sounds like your Domino decided to join the dark side and try out for a career as a misaligned fence post. I've had mine walk on me, but usually after I forgot to tighten the depth stop enough, not just out of spite like yours did. At least bondo and sanding is cheaper than a new panel, right?

Actually it's usually the plunge base loosening up that causes the drift, not the depth stop. A little blue Loctite on the screws fixes it right up.
