That guy at the supply house showed me how domino joints work on a jig he built

Watched a 60 year old cabinetmaker knock out ten domino joints in under 2 minutes at Builders Supply in Denver last Saturday. Sold me on getting a Domino DF500 - has anyone switched from dowels and regretted it?

Gotta say, that's pretty impressive. A pro making it look that easy is a hard sell to ignore. You won't regret the switch, the DF500 is a beast and makes joinery way less stressful.

Is it just me or does that same principle apply to pretty much any skill worth learning? Good tools and good examples cut the learning curve in half.
