Old customer's note in a drawer made my Tuesday
Doing a hardware swap on some cabinet doors I built for a house in Tacoma back in 2019, pulled out the hinge screws and there was a folded up note from the homeowner thanking me for matching the grain on the end panels. She wrote it with a date and her name, Karen, and said her husband still bragged about the built-ins to visitors. Made me stop and remember why I do this trade instead of just cranking out boxes. Anyone else ever find something they left behind that came back around like that?
