My uncle told me to use a 1/8 inch spacer for drawer slides, and it saved a job in Tacoma.

Oh man, that spacer trick is a lifesaver. I keep a few in my kit now because drawers are never perfectly square.

It's wild how often the simplest trick from someone with experience is the real fix. Those little bits of passed-down knowledge just make everything click.
