I finally took that old cabinetmaker's advice on dado blades after fighting with dados for 2 years
Guy named Hank at the woodworking meetup in Austin kept telling me to stop using my stacked dado set and try a wobble blade instead. I thought he was crazy until I borrowed his Freud wobble blade at a job last month. Cuts were way cleaner on my oak cabinet sides (maybe 30% less tearout) and I finished the job in half the time. Any of you guys made the switch from stacked to wobble, or am I just lucky on this one?

Totally changed my mind on wobble blades too after trying one at a buddy's shop, thought they were a gimmick but the cleaner cuts sold me.

Cleaner cuts" is a stretch for a wobble blade. I mean, it's a jigsaw with a weird twist, not exactly a game changer for most stuff.

Cleaner cuts" is true here, I ate my words after building a shelf unit with that same wobble blade.
