Had no idea paint grade plywood faces delaminate this fast
Found out last month that a 3/4" maple face on cheap birch ply started peeling at the seams after only 8 months in a dry shop, the glue just gave up. Anyone else ever warranty claim this with the supplier or am I stuck eating the cost?
Wait, eight months? That's insane. I've had cheap plywood sit in my garage for years in way worse conditions and the face stayed on. You're telling me the glue just let go on a maple face after that short a time? That's not normal wear, that's a straight up manufacturing screw up. I don't care if it was a dry shop, that stuff should hold up way better than that. I'd be on the phone with the supplier before I even finished cleaning up the mess, because that's not something you should just eat.
