Had a week where everything went exactly right in the shop
Last Tuesday I was building a set of shaker cabinets for a kitchen in Portland and somehow every dado joint lined up perfect on the first try. No tearout, no sanding fixes, just clean fits. Then on Thursday I made a jig for drilling adjustable shelf pins that took me maybe 20 minutes to build but saved me two hours on the job. By Friday my client even showed up with a $100 tip because they loved how the grain matched up on the doors. Has anyone else had one of those rare weeks where nothing fought back?

Haven't you ever had a week that went so smooth it felt like the universe was making up for something? I get a little suspicious when nothing fights back, honestly. Like sure, take the win, but I'd keep an eye out for the next project balancing things out.

Doesn't it feel like the universe is just letting you catch your breath before the next fire drill? I've learned to just ride those weeks out and not question it too much, because overthinking it never helped me any.

Kind of makes you wonder if there's some rule where the universe gives you a freebie week just to keep you from quitting altogether. Maybe it's like those days when you hit every green light on the way to work for no reason at all and you just have to accept it and move on.
