Found out that over 60% of custom cabinet shops still use paper templates for complex cutouts.
Read it in a Fine Woodworking survey from last year, blew my mind that so many guys are still doing it the old way when a $200 digitizer would save them hours, anyone else stuck in the paper world?

Gagged reading that... 60% is way higher than I would have guessed. I mean, I get it if you're a one-man band in a tiny shop and can't justify the spend, but for anyone doing more than a couple kitchens a month, that's just burning money in setup time alone. Must be a lot of guys out there who still swear by their hand-drawn patterns on old newspaper or something.

Isn't that basically leaving money on the table with all that extra time cutting? Old timers are probably just too stubborn to learn the software.
