TIL the coffee shop near my office runs out of oat milk every single Tuesday
I went in this morning and they said it happens because their delivery comes on Wednesday mornings. That's a basic supply chain issue they could fix by ordering more or changing the schedule. Has anyone else seen a small business mess up something this simple?

Used to assume bad planning was always the cause. Then a friend who runs a bakery explained how tight their cash flow is. They literally can't afford to store extra of a perishable item that only some customers want. Makes you see it differently.
