Just realized the $400 I spent on a used label printer saved my warehouse crew about 6 hours a week
I run a small parts warehouse out in Aurora and we were still handwriting labels on shipping boxes until about 8 months ago. I got tired of one guy spending his whole morning writing addresses and grabbed a used Zebra printer off a guy on Marketplace for $400. I did the math last week: it cut about 6 hours a week off packing, which at what I pay my crew is roughly $150 back in my pocket every week. The printer paid for itself in under 3 weeks and I felt dumb for waiting so long. Only catch is the labels themselves run me about $60 a month now, which I didn't plan for. Anyone else had a small gear buy pay off way faster than expected?
