Hot take: my POS went down on a Saturday morning rush and I ran 40 orders on paper slips
Last Saturday the card reader at my counter died at 9:40am with a line out the door, so I grabbed a receipt pad and wrote every order by hand for two hours. Turned out fine, we only lost like $60 from two walkouts and I typed the slips in that night. Anyone else keep a paper backup plan for when the system craps out?
