Hot take: I'm done with the 'always automate' advice for small teams

I was talking to my cousin who runs a bakery in Portland, and she said she stopped using her automated scheduling tool after 6 months. She said it took her more time to fix its mistakes than to just write the schedule herself. That hit different because I've been pushing my own 5-person team to automate everything. Has anyone else found that some manual processes are actually faster for a small business?

Ngl, I gave up on Zapier for the exact same reason. Too many fixes.

Oh absolutely, I switched to Make and never looked back, way less maintenance headaches.
