DAE spend way too long fixing a simple inventory sync glitch?
Our Shopify and warehouse system stopped talking for a month because of one mismatched SKU field. Some say we should've rebuilt the whole integration, others that a manual check would've caught it faster. What's your take on handling these data sync fails?

Ugh, that's brutal. I saw a post last week where a company set up a daily automated report that just flagged any SKU mismatches. Honestly, just having that simple alert would've saved them weeks of digging. A full rebuild sounds like overkill for one field.

Totally agree, that's the kind of fix that actually works. I've seen teams spend months planning some perfect new system when a simple daily check-in email would solve 90% of the headache. Rebuilding everything from scratch just introduces new bugs to chase down (trust me on that one). Start with the alert, see what it catches, and go from there.

Wait, they set up a whole rebuild just for ONE field? @charlesowens, that's WILD - I can't believe anyone would sign off on that kind of scope for such a tiny issue.
